The Litecoin Foundation announced that it will migrate from the Electrum-LTC multi-signature wallet to the BitGo multi-signature wallet.

According to a May 7 post on the company’s website, the move is linked to the BitGo wallet, which provides “more convenience and nearly the same level of security.” Old Electrum LTC games will be available for a month, and new BitGo wallets will soon be processed.

Litecoin (LTC) price rose 5% after the announcement, but during the half year on May 9 fell in the same way as Bitcoin (BTC).

The Mimblewimble test begins
Litecoin recently released a progressive update to the integration of the Mimblewimble cryptocurrency codebase, stating that a test environment has been created and the integration of the codebase has begun. According to the developers, Mimblewimble should be launched on the Litecoin testnet by the end of the summer.
