Award-winning British writers Dave Morris and Jamie Thompson will write a new fictional trilogy, Vulcan Poems. The name of the community project is based on the irreplaceable card game Vulcan Forged, which will be presented by VeChain, which works with the symbol and the decentralized virtual world of VulcanVerse.

With over 100 books to the names, the authors are among the most successful British authors of game books, writing Fairy Lands, Fantasy Battle and The Crystal Labyrinth. Game books are interactive stories where the reader can choose the direction of the story using their own options.

Morris and Thompson have written over 70 books and 30 books, respectively. One of Thompson’s most successful series has been published in the United Kingdom, Japan, France, the United States, Italy and Sweden, where each of the six books sells over 60,000 copies in the United Kingdom alone.

Both authors are also game developers who often write books about games and support fantasy and RPG works, and have previously worked on some blockchain projects.

“Poems of the Volcano” tells the story of a volcanic god who used human technology to create a virtual 3D world and restore the vanishing powers of the ancient gods. Thompson said the trilogy will take place in a universe that combines Greek and Roman mythology and high imagination:

“The books will be an introduction to the virtual game, documenting the path from technology and atheism to the point where the ancient gods must choose to either disappear or take matters into their own hands.”
VulcanVerse is a massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that lets users buy and sell virtual land packs affiliated with NFT while interacting with other players. The game is scheduled to launch later this year with a standalone 3D rendering app that lets players create landscapes, customize characters and create their own artwork.

The packages will go on sale on September 30, and only 10,000 packages of 20 x 20m will be created. Each package costs $ 100 and can be purchased with Ether (ETH), Tether (USDT), VeThor (VTHO) or VeChain VET token with 5% and 15% discounts on financial contracts and VeChain X nodes, respectively.
