The Ethereum 2.0 origination bet resulted in the total number of Ethereum contracts exceeding the number of Bitcoins for the second time this year.

According to Ethernodes.org, there are currently 11,259 active Ethereum nodes, giving them a roughly 1% advantage over 11,136 bitcoins. Ethereum’s emergency number last exceeded the Bitcoin offer in early September.

Ethereum contract count has increased by more than 50% in the past two weeks, compared to 8086 on November 15th, just 11 days after the Eth2 deposit contract went into operation. On November 30th, Ethereum’s emergency account overtook bitcoins.

According to the Blockchain Center’s “Flippening” Index, which tries to track the strength of the Ethereum network compared to Bitcoin, the increase in the number of nodes increased the index from 50.5% to 62.4% during the month of November.

According to the index, the node number is the third major account in the chain that Ethereum is currently “running” Bitcoin on, along with the number of transactions and transaction fees.

Etherscan estimates that Ethereum processed nearly 1.2 million transactions in the past 24 hours, compared to 300,000 Bitcoins. Ethereum also processed $ 3.6 million in transaction fees in the past 24 hours, while Bitcoin’s fees were around $ 1.4 million.

According to the Flippening Index, Ethereum posted a two-year high of 67.68% in early September compared to Bitcoin due to DeFi’s boom in the third quarter.

Eth2 beacon network will start in few hours. The launch of the deposit contract allowed ETH holders to set Ether (ETH) to place bets, with the 524,288 Ether needed to launch the Lighthouse series just over an hour before the November 24 deadline.

According to Beaconcha.in, 878808 Ether has already been sent to the deposit contract. The construction of the drag chain will lay the foundation for cutting and voltage proof.
