Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has reportedly confirmed his positive stance on Bitcoin (BTC) despite not being a Bitcoin investor himself.

An outspoken Bitcoin supporter who once called it “the only digital gold”, Wozniak reportedly called Bitcoin a “technology miracle” and a “unique mathematical formula” at Talent Land Digital 2021, a major virtual event in Latin America dedicated to technology and Innovation. …

According to a report by the local news agency El Sol de México on Thursday, Apple co-founder also noticed that bitcoin is better than gold, which means that mining bitcoins is easier than finding and mining gold:

“Gold is limited and must be sought. Bitcoin is the most amazing mathematical miracle. I do not invest in bitcoins, but I think they will stay here. ”
Many players and industry analysts refer to Bitcoin as “digital gold” as both gold and Bitcoin have a limited offer and therefore potentially have value in the market. While gold is limited by physical supply and mining, bitcoin mining is limited by the source code of 21 million coins, which means that there will not be a single new bitcoin after the last coin was mined in 2140.

Wozniak’s comments came shortly after Ricardo Salinas Blego, Mexico’s third-largest man, said it was “absolutely right” to call Bitcoin the new gold. Billionaire businessman said: “It’s true, bitcoin is the new gold, but it’s much easier to transfer and transferring bitcoin is much easier than having gold bars in your pockets.”

Wozniak previously made similar comments about Bitcoin, claiming that “Bitcoin is just pure digital gold” in June 2018. The technology expert noted that he bought comments from Twitter boss Jack Dorsey, who has repeatedly claimed that Bitcoin will be the Internet’s common currency.
