Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by volume, is showing off another fan chain from the major sports token platform Chiliz.

According to the December 23 announcement, Binance Launchpool – a platform that allows users to play tokens for up to 30 days to receive rewards – will soon include three other fan sports icons: the Dota 2 OG eSports team, Atlético de Madrid Football (ATM). , And Football Club Roma (ASR).

As part of the new bonuses, Binance users will be able to place bets on Binance (BNB), Binance Dollar (BUSD) and Chiliz (CHZ) coins on Fan OG, ATM and ASR tokens from December 24 to January 23, 2021.

From December 30, Binance will also host OG, ATM and ASR in its innovation zone and will open trading with major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Tether (USDT). Upcoming trading pairs include OG / BTC, OG / USDT, ATM / BTC, ATM / USDT, ASR / BTC and ASR / USDT.

Binance Chairman Changpeng Zhao said the traditional sports and sports industries are increasingly exploring and participating in the cryptocurrency industry. “The fan codes have been well received by our users, and we are excited to work closely with Chiliz to continue making them available,” Zhao added.

The latest development marks the second phase of the collaboration between Binance and Chiliz after the two companies announced a strategic partnership on December 14th. Coinciding with the announcement, Binance announced the listing of Chiliz Fan Tokens for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Juventus (JUV) football clubs on Binance Launchpool.

Alexander Dreyfus, CEO and founder of Chiliz and its Socios subsidiary, said the companies plan to add “several partners from the sports and entertainment industry” in the near future. Dreyfus noted that the collaboration aims to foster the digital transformation of the industry, engage fans and generate revenue.

Chiliz and Socios have actively expanded their leadership as global fan token providers. In August 2020, Chili’s and Socius announced plans to issue a Visa debit card with fan codes for big teams like FC Barcelona. In July 2020, Brazil’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Mercado Bitcoin launched CHZ trading against the Brazilian Real. Previously, Chiliz and Socios sold $ 1.3 million worth of tokens to FC Barcelona fans in under two hours.
