British actress Maisie Williams, best known for her role as Arya Stark on HBO’s Game of Thrones, may join the victory over Bitcoin (BTC).
In a November 16 tweet, the actress asked 2.7 million followers if she should “buy bitcoins.” At the time of publication, the majority – 50.4% of the 118,190 participants – reported that they would invest in cryptocurrencies. Williams is worth an estimated $ 6 million thanks to his work in television and film.
The mention of Bitcoin Crypto by well-known celebrities confused Twitter as other characters struggled to understand their thoughts.
Peter McCormack, host of the podcast What Bitcoin Did, suggested that Williams avoid altcoins at all costs, telling the actor “Bitcoin and nothing else.” However, the crypto terminology that the Game of Thrones columnist runs into was extensive as Blockfolio told Williams that she would “join the free people” by buying bitcoins. Barry Silbert joined the party and invited the actor to investigate a “different” gray scale in honor of the illness on the show and the investment firm’s cryptostillates.
Bitcoin’s adoption as one of the most important figures in entertainment and finance has increased significantly in 2020 as many consider inflation defenses and digital alternatives to cash. Day trader Dave Portnoy briefly joined the crypto community this year, after which he called Bitcoin “a great Ponzi scheme.”
At time of publication, BTC is worth $ 16,770 after rising 5.7% in the past 24 hours.
